Water coming down inside of windshield

So I’m out here in California and we have all this rain right now and just notice a water leak!

In the picture the circle is where the water is coming down at. it either streams down just the inside of the windshield or it comes down the oh shit handle.
I bought this truck used in the summer so I’m not sure if it’s a leaky windshield shield or sun roof. If anyone has any suggestions on where it might be coming from that I can check out I’d appreciate it.

There was a recall on windshield leaking. Check with the dealer and see if the recall is still running and if your truck qualifies. Has the windshield been replaced?

It could be the drain on the moon roof. I had a similar issue with my truck. The drain tube on the driver side wasn't connected properly from the factory. It caused water to leak through the grab handle and also down the windshield and behind the dash.

I would check that first. Its not to bad to access, remove a-pillar, unscrew fold down mirror, pull down weather strip along door opening and the you can pull down on the headliner. Be careful not to crease the headliner. You should see the drain tube in the corner.

I’ll have to look into that I’m not sure if this windshield was replaced it is a 2021 that I bought June of 2024

Just checked the NHSTA website said no open recalls on my vin

Just pulled it in to the garage and poured water on the windshield upper drivers corner. The leak is definitely coming from there.

Time to buy some Cha-Cha, Chia seeds and and randomly spread them. ?

I had a similar problem on an F250. The drain was disconnected at the moon roof. They had to take the headliner out & I don't know why the headliner didn't get wet.
