Voice Recognition Gone after Update

That’s what I’ve been doing. Asking to play a specific song and artist. She confirms my choice and then just continues playing whatever I’ve been listening to whether XM, FM or previous song.

Yea, that's what she was doing in my description, except she was hung up in the Spotify source, which when I gave her a non Spotify request she cleared.
So I assumed the "Alexa bug" was related to the Alexa skill for Spotify.

Regardless, since Alexa is partially in the cloud, I think the issue was in the cloud, and the truck was just the endpoint (speaker) for what she was streaming.

We might be having different issues, but what's similar is Alexa needs to be "unstuck", and perhaps the part of her that is stuck is in the cloud?

Do you use Alexa from any other devices? Perhaps mess with her from the Alexa smartphone app?

That's exactly the bug I experienced.
I don't think it's Ford.
I think the Spotify Alexa Skill has a bug in it.

Keeping multiple software platforms playing nice together has got to be a coding nightmare.

Well factory reset didn’t fix it for me, so I guess I wait. I wish this vehicle would just leave working things alone… Ford needs to work on the QC for this stuff. First pulling the battery for connected services modem reset, now this, all in a span of 8 weeks.
