Vibration grinding from front drivers side wheel

Getting this grinding soundfrom my front driver side wheel well. I took it in to service and they could not reproduce. I had the Tech ride along with me to try and get it to make the noise and still cannot get it to reproduce the sound. However, the tech told me that if I bring it back in regardless if I have the extended service plan, I have to pay the diagnostic fee on top of the hundred dollar deductible because the ford ESP doesn’t cover diagnostic fees even if they find what’s wrong. I mentioned it sounded like an iwe hub and he said it would only happen going straight if it was that but based on what I’ve read here that’s not the case. Trying to figure out what it could be. If the part is cheaper than $280 ($100 deductible+$179 diag fee) might just do it myself.
