Is anyone having vibration issues at 60 to 70 mph? My truck started vibrating at around 500 miles. It is only when you are on the gas just enough to maintain speed. When I let off the gas it is smooth. At higher speeds the vibration goes away. Shifting to a lower gear does not change the vibration. The tires have been forced road balanced and the vibration still remains. I have a XLT 4x4 with 18" Wheels.

Hello there! Send us a private message with your truck's VIN and current mileage. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this vibrating issue. Thanks!

I have this same issue. What is the solution? My dealership is trying to tell me it’s normal but it’s really annoying!!!!

Just curious which wheels and tires are on your F-150? Does yours only vibrate when slightly on the gas?

Yes it’s literally doing the exact same as yours. Doesn’t matter what gear or driving mode I’m in, starting at just over 40 mph and worse at 60 it’s this pulsing vibration that can be heard when on the gas. Up at 70 mph or off the gas it goes away. Xlt trim with 18 in rims with the pirelli atr tires.
I have 18's with Michelins. The tech at the dealer was thinking tires, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Tires wouldn't stop vibrating when you let off the gas. It's definitely something rotational. I would look at driveshaft balance next if it was up to me.

Can you hear the vibration? I can feel the rumble in the seat and steering wheel. I can hear it also.

I have had same issue since new. Slightly rough idle and rough at low rpm under load. Dealer reproduced it and said new trucks on the lot had it too. Never had this on my 2018 throughput it’s 110,000 miles. Ford says it’s normal. I hope they resolve this or I will eventually get a different truck and if they haven’t eliminated this I am afraid it won’t be a Ford 3.5 ecoboost. Very annoying

Take one out for a test drive and see. I have driven multiple 2021s and none of them vibrate like mine. I did have some of what you mentioned and they cleaned the transmission selenoids and cleared the adaptvie learn tables from the computer. This eliminated that low RPM transmission roughness.

I have a question. Is the vibration felt in the seat or in the steering wheel? Usually when felt in the seat it is associated with the rear of the vehicle and just the opposite when felt thru the steering wheel. It could be a bad motor mount or transmission mount. On the gas puts stress on the mounts. I hope this helps as I have had vehicles with vibrations and they can be difficult to diagnose .

It even happens when idling in park. Shifting to a lower gear and therefore increasing the rpm seems to help. I fear since there are no error codes Ford will stick to their “normal function” position

Seat and Steering wheel.
Then I would suspect the drivetrain. Something happened at 500 miles to cause this. I would have your dealer check all mounts for any sign of looseness. Also check the driveshafts for any missing weights, bad u joints, or runout at the rear axle yoke. Yes as Up north said , a lot of dealers will try to pass it off as " they all do that or that's normal" Its not. It will take some digging and maybe a change of dealership, but it can be solved. Good luck.

Remember that error codes are computer related, this appears to be mechanical. I still suspect a motor or trans mount. Also, a vibration on light throttle acceleration can be torque converter lockup problems. Just my 2 cents of things I have seen over the years. Good luck.

My 21 has a annoying vibration only when towing. My car trailer and my 10 foot alum atv trailer do it. My old 2013 never did it.

It starts at 50 mph and continues. It is like a pulse. 2 seconds on 2 off 2 on ( hum......hum.......hum) even if going 70 and letting off the gas it will do it.

But nothing without the trailer

The trailer is also fine being my wife's edge.
