Congrats ? I my self have spent 1/2 a day trying to just get illuminate the switches to NO AVAIL ??‍ I can’t for the life of me figure out which fuse to tap into on the passenger side interior fuse box to get illumination to the switches . I have however figured out exactly how to get the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT & SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT to come on . ?? If anyone has any recommendations on where exactly I should get illumination to the switches from IM ALL EARS ????? I have fabricate my relay box mount and routed the battery cable still trying to figure out where exactly to mount the mega fuse ? This illumination issue is driving me crazy ? The last time I did this exact mod to my 2018 f150 it was so easy to solder the illumination wire to the #10 pin at the overhead console itself ? I’ll say it again I’m open to anyones suggestions on where exactly to get illumination from I’ve pretty much tapped the majority of the fuses in the passenger side fuse box and haven’t gotten a ray of light from any switches yet ?‍ HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE ??

It looks like your mounted on the air box. My instructions was to mount on the battery mount. Your on the opposite side of the engine bay

You’re aluminum mount is also different than mine.

The grommet in front of the passenger seat worked. No need to remove the passage seat to install

I’m pretty much a hack ? I was one of the first to follow along when Boosted created his first wire harness back in 2017 or 2018 and he pretty much explained to the chat at the time how exactly we should build the harness ourselves ? Much cheaper. I’m pretty much just winging it ?‍ I’m not going for that OEM look I’m just need the switches to work ? It’s funny my wife just now act found one of my first wire harness I made in 2018 when I was practicing pinning connections ?‍ I though she threw them away ? In a nut shell I pretty much just follow the chat along and replicate what you guys do ?‍ But this illumination thing is driving me crazy can’t figure out where exactly to tap into ?‍ since everyone is using Boosted’s new harness and everyone keeps saying to tap the BCM but know one knows exactly where ?‍ I just ordered all the parts and am pretty much just winging it ?Yours is looking great so far ?? PLEASE? UP DATE YOUR PROGRESS as you go along I’ll be watching. It’s funny knowone has made a YouTube video about this exact mod yet. I’d bet it would get a hole bunch of view. If I ever figure out where exactly to get illumination from I may even do it myself ?? if you ever come across info on where exactly to tap to get illumination LET ME KNOW HAPPY 4TH ?

done almost. Just cannot for the life of me find where he wants the single green pin at. I looked at the connector that’s on the instructions and either it’s pinned different or I can’t read it at all. Not sure where it goes. I reached out to him to figure it out. Im pretty sure this is the connector that is in the instructions. But no matter how I turn it the pins that are shown in the layout does not line up so I’m trying to figure this out

@Brandanr96 On the backside of connector C2280C there should be numbers that indicate the positions of the slots.

To the best of my knowledge the view from the diagram is when you're looking at the back of the connector which is the mess of wires you have in your photo. It appears that pin number 1 is closest to that red tab while pin 36 is towards the back in the direction the wires are heading. If you can get a clearer shot of the connector from the top with all the wires coming out I can try to help.

Here are some pictures. Next to the red and white inside the connector shows the number 28. Right above this is 18. Has to be as it’s below 28. According to the diagram that’s on the instructions 20 then is open. 21-22 is taken. Which is shown on the picture. But according to the diagram. 23-24-25 is open. On my connector 23 is taken. 24-25 is open
21=brown. 22=red/white. 23=green and orange

The diagram also shows 28-29-30 is taken. I only have 28-30 taken. 29 is open as shown in the picture above. 28=large red/white. 29 open 30=small green

Also. In the diagram 1 and 2 is open. 3 and 4 is taken. On my connector. The only one taken is 3. 4is open. You can see the small numbers in the corner on this picture. The connector I’m on has the same 36 pins so I’m not sure what’s going on
