Wasnt a response to me......but just got this email

--------------

We wanted to update you on your upfitter purchase. It has been a good deal of time that has passed since you placed your order and again, we apologize for the delay and lack of communication. With this said, the current status of your order remains pending, however we anticipate your order will be shipping this coming week beginning monday 26th.

We also wanted to give you a few options.
As always you are able to request to cancel this or any order before it is shipped.

Options:

1. Elect to keep your order.
If you still wish to keep your order we would like to provide you with a special thank you.
a special 1 time discount on any wiring solution of your choice at a 40% off discounted rate.
We have never offered a discount about 20% however we feel this is warranted and necessary to express our apology for dropping the ball with your order and the promised delivery date.
This offer is good for any wiring solution, but excludes any solution that also has Ford oem parts with it. i.e oem tail lights, head lights or steering wheels, etc. The wiring harnesses for these types of upgrades are however eligible.

2. Request a refund.
We understand. Again we always make this option available for any order that has not been shipped. There are no penalties for this option. You will receive a full refund for the total cost of your order with nothing deducted.

Please inform us of your choice by responding to this email with your order #.

If you choose to maintain your order we will note your account as such. Once your receive your order, let us know via email, and we will provide you with information on how to use your 40% off discount.

I did not get this email. Although there’s no other wiring harnesses I would need so I’m not sure what to do with that if I did. I would however be open to a partial refund on the Upfitter harness. Since after all, after this giant debacle doesn’t exactly make you want to be a return customer without an item already being in stock.

I didn't get the email with discount either. I am of the same mindset as you, a partial refund would be the best course of action. After all, we didn't pick the ship date (over and over), they did. We knew it was being produced since we PRE-ordered it. The problem is waiting months and then receiving zero communication after their shipping date passed.

Exactly right. They set the target that they then clearly missed without a word. No different than paying a landscaper up front for a job on Monday then they just never show up and when you look at their social media they are trying to take on more business.

Lawrence seems like a really nice guy. The fact at one point he said he had 42 to ship then 10 to ship and that remaining 10 has shipped now well over a month after makes you wonder. The 30 others shipped in days.

No email but mine shipped and is being delivered today.
When you get yours, look at the box the relay box comes in. I’m fairly positive that’s the packaging from Ford where he got that part and just took off the panel with the Ford part number.

1000% agree.

Everyone says he is a nice guy and I've followed his builds on the other f150 forum for years. I've also directly messaged him via IG with questions about my old truck. He was nice in those interactions. The numbers do seem a bit strange.

Mine was just delivered at home. I will be there in about an hour and will check it out.

Still have no word on mine other than the mass email sent today. I stated I still wanted mine. We’ll see if the 26th is true or not. I’m very skeptical with the dates now.

It is 100% a Ford box with the label flap of the box ripped off.

Dude if I could have I’d have routed mine to you. With my move coming up I’m still a couple weeks away from being able to tear my truck apart.

The last deadline was the 17th. I sure he gets yours out this weekend.

That means it was about $400 for just the wiring harness itself then. That super duty relay is about $150.

Is this the one from the super duty? I was looking for details on the 2022+ Raptor relay box but didn’t find a lot of into yet.
I did find the Bronco Up-fitter switches can be added by replacing the entire relay/fuse box under the hood and then installing the switches in the console. The wiring was almost completely already in each Bronco. I was unable to figure out if the 2022+ Raptor has the up-fitter relay/fuse box built into one unit like the Bronco. I’m sure Lawrence already looked into this which is why he built the kit he built.

As for the harness, he has to pay for those $1000 crimpers that are needed for the harness. And we know Ford uses many different types of plugs and pins so there are many different crimpers needed. But also don’t forget the custom aluminum bracket that I have NO idea where it goes. LOL

I don’t know what the bronco one looks like to be honest. I’ve been told it’s not the F150 because it’s a totally different relay.

As for the aluminum bracket, I understand HOW it works but also as to where I cannot for the life of me see where it’s going to go. There’s the two screw holes so I’m guessing they either match up somewhere or some new holes will be needed.

This is the only photo I’ve seen of this mod done.

It was more of a hope that Ford made the main fuse/relay box and the up-fitter fuse/relay box into one unit like the Bronco. LOL

Yeah, I understand how it works as well but cannot figure out where. I really hope it's not where it shows in the picture, that is where I'm putting my fuse for my audio system.

That photo is from someone on Facebook who did this upgrade nearly a year ago.

Ah ok. I remember someone posting their install of the up-fitter switches. I think I saved those pictures.

it would seem like this would make sense with the short battery cable that is on the relay box. But I agree I don't see where it could possibly mount. That area for me is already pretty full of wires, actually that whole side of the truck is full of wires due to the powerboost module.
