Update 22-PU1010MIL-QL check engine light

I’m humbly submitting this to the gurus of the forums.

My truck received the update above last night. This morning the check engine light was on solid. Ford pass just says its service engine soon and that it’s safe to drive.

I had an oil change last weekend at 15K. I’ve had no other issues with warning lights. Any thoughts? I don’t have an obd scanner (my obdlink Mx+ will be here tomorrow). Would this update have flipped the check engine light? Thanks for the help.

Once you get the obdmx+ and load it up. Add the enhanced ford file for your truck. The app will lead you to it. Load the diagnostics page and scan ALL . Please post results someone here will know what to do. The screen looks like this, first photo, the second shot what you'll see as a result from the scan.

Update-got in the truck this afternoon to take it to the auto parts store to at least find out what code it was throwing (this has been bugging me all day) and the light was off. Chalk it up to the gremlins for now.

the obdlink mx+ is coming tomorrow. At least if it happens again I’ll be able to diagnose it.

Here is the diagnosis from the maestro aka Jesse-infotainment. Confirmed it was related to the update. I’ll keep an eye on things with the obdlink Mx+ and if anything changes I’ll update the thread.
