My dealer service dept has a communications problem.
Took four visits and an extra hour of refusing to leave to get them to suggest evaporator cleaning might help with mold/mildew odor that happens when HVAC first starts up.
Venting / ranting -
Went to them today with that issue and a check engine light (steady, no drivability issues). Their response "we did a module update, the light is off." No mention of what the code was, or what module was involved. Not willing to provide this information. Billed 2 hours labor to Ford warranty for $362
What happened to the days where the service advisor/ writer would tell you what was done to what?
