Had this show up in ford pass. For my 21 XLT. I did have the tailgate drop on me once, was not sure if I did not close it hard enough but was 95% sure I did. Guess I’ll be taking it in for this and the recall. Not seeing any info on this when I google it.

I received this, too. The other forum mentioned the target repair is Q3. As of right now there aren't many details.

This is a extended coverage up to 10 years or 150,000 miles. It is only something you need to bring the truck in if you experience the issue. It does look like it’s an advanced notice right now and will not be available to late 3rdQ like previously mentioned. Here is the letter customer will be getting from Ford.
