Tyger T1 won't latch

I feel like everything is lined up, but I simply cannot stretch it enough to get it to latch into the holders. I've tried adjusting the tension holders multiple times but nothing works.

I finally was able to get it into place, but it won't smooth down at the end. It feels way too tight, and I cannot force it down anymore.

I was able to finally get it into place after adjusting the brackets that hold the rails in place.
