I purchased the Tyger auto T1 soft roll up based on advise here. I know it's probably not the best based on the fact that I spent $200 and others are spending $1300 but for what I paid even if it lasts 2 years I am good. Being a new truck owner I want to experiment slowly. It took me about 90 minutes to put this on and should have only taken 20. It took this long because this was the first time I was installing one and had to do it two times to get it in the right spot. Hopefully this cover is ok. I live in NJ.

Looks better than my $330 Truxedo which is similar in that its a roll up that sits on top of the sides of the bed. I put mine on in 15 deg F weather...... almost three years ago....and its still good.
Pro tip: Check the clamps periodically.

My father in law has the tyger soft fold cover on his truck for last prolly 3 or so years. He loves it keeps inside bed dry and still looks almost new in this louisiana weather.

Yes the clamps like henfield said just check them periodically make sure they didn't loosen up a bit . Not a big deal a quick check to make sure their tight.

O BTW the cover looks good hope you enjoy it

I bought a Tyger tri fold back in 2018, moved it to a 2021 and now on a 2023. Still looks and works like new.

Looks good! As you said, for that price you can't go wrong, even if you wind up replacing it in a year or two. But from what the fellas are saying here, it may hold up quite well.

Same as others have already said. I've had mine for three years now. Still works great and looks pretty good. Not quite as weather proof against heavy rain as other tops, primarily along the tailgate. But good enough for me.

I do wish the cross bars lifted higher to take out more slack, since putting mine on in April, the fabric has clearly expanded now that its warmer out. I wonder how much turbulence it creates under the bed with all the flapping at speed. For 200, though, can't ask for too much. Money no object, ideally I would get a diamondback, but this does the job.

My Tyger roll cover is 4 years old and has exceeded my expectations. I apply 3M 303 protectant oonce a year and it looks almost new! I did have to bend the tailgate bow downward a bit to get a acceptable but not perfect seal for the tailgate with the bedstep. I have no regrets.

Was rockin' my Tyger soft tonneau off and on with my Yakima racks for the first 2 years but been rockin' on the bed for the last 2 since selling my racks.

I live in Hawaii, my tonneau gets beat down with the Hawaiian sun all day, everyday. I've got it stretched and taught, with no sag. And even with the heat, it holds pretty well and doesn't flap around at all.

Well I just ordered the Tyger 2 low profile and will report back, I left the Tyger1 roll up on my truck when I traded it. I like the low profile look of the Tyger2.
