Tweeter Filters

I'm looking to add a Kicker Key 200.4 along with Kicker KS speakers to my truck. I know that the Key has DSP, but unfortunately the tweeters share the same channel as the front door speakers on the 7 channel arrangement. Does anyone know if there is an existing high pass filter on those channels after the mid bass speaker or should I use the crossovers that come with the speakers?

The signal out of the ACM is 'full spectrum' to both the tweeters and the 'woofers'. The OE door 'woofers' and separate tweeters have filters (acting as simple XO's) integral to each of the speakers themselves (the tweeter filter is physically on the tweeter, the woofer filter is physically on the woofer). When you remove the OE speakers you remove all OE filters / XO's from the OE system.

Implement your mods accordingly.

I am considering this route as well, but don't know if I would miss the rear speakers or not.

Use the HU to still power rear speakers.
This will REALLY help the imaging up front, and the mic button can be used to demo to friends, the DSP on, and off with the switch.
