Truck powers off unexpectedly

I have a 2025 5.0 engine that periodically shuts down for no reason.

Happens when i am coming to a stop at a traffic light or stop to park. The truck turns off with no power while truck is in gear

It starts up right away otherwise

This has happened 7 or 8 times since I bought the truck brand new on May

Has anyone had this issue ?

I don't want to be the guy asking the obvious, but are you sure this isn't the auto start stop "feature". When you let your foot of the brake does it start up again?

Sounds like the ASS is kicking in. If you don’t manually turn off it will be working. Hope it’s just that simple.

I wish it was but the whole truck powers off including the dash and the head lights. I have to put the truck in Park and turn on the ignition to restart

I took it to the dealer and they couldn't find the issue and since they couldn't replicate it they did not do anything unfortunately

A complete loss of Battery has to be occurring.
Begin by making sure both terminals/cables are tight.
Test main grounding point for being tight.
It may be vibration sensitive the way happens then come back again.

Try turning off the auto start stop when you drive and see if it still does it. It's possibly related to this system.

Auto Stop Start is a very complex system few know about
The Battery voltage has to be up to a Minium level that is monitored by a DC to DC Inverter located in the Body Control Module. If too low, A-S-S is >inhibited< with a notification to put in Neutral or Park and manually start the engine. The Battery has enough power to crank the engine at this point, by design intent so vehicle is not disabled at the stopping point in traffic.
If Battery is up to level, the DC to DC Inverter powers 5 modules that support A-S-S as mandatory. The Trans has a Battery powered fluid pump that has to run at that time or vehicle movement cannot happen.
Along with all these functions and more, are Fault monitoring and driver actions.
If any fault is detected, A-S-S is Inhibited, or driver action that is not allowed.
There is no Power cut off of any kind normally caused.

A loss of dash power etc has to be some other basic power fault affecting everything.
There is no physical link that can shut power off other than a fault or a fuse seating issue, or power cabling.

That fuse seating issue was a problem for at least the 2021 job 1 trucks, nearly all of my small fuses in the kick panel were just barely seated. Worth checking the fuses under the hood and in the kick panel just to make sure they're all pushed in securely. You would expect more intermittent behavior though, not just when coming to a red light.
