Truck in for service

Brought my truck in to have the APIM and TCU manually updated. Also to address an issue with what sounds like a loose heat shield, as well as pretty constant battery drain.

The service rep called a couple times, once to say they needed to charge the battery due to being too low, and then to say that my truck has done 12 updates so far and is still going. Yikes. I told them it was a ways behind.

Hopefully I will get a call today to say it’s done.

When I put my in for updates they needed it for a full day. Dealership was nice enough to deliver the truck back to my house though which was convenient.

Mine has been saying this for awhile now. Was told to wait it out. Is there anyway to force the update?

You can "force" the update with FDRS

Otherwise you just have to cross your fingers that OTA will succeed

Picked up my truck yesterday evening. 16 total updates they had to do, the service rep said. I knew I was behind but holy shit.
