Hi All,
This afternoon when pulling out of a parking space my ‘21 XLT PB felt like it was in 4WD on dry pavement while making tight turns. I quickly checked and confirmed the truck was in 2WD. His continued while maneuvering through the parking lot. I put the truck in 4WD and then back again to see if that would free things up, but it did not. After approx 1/2 mile things seemed to return to normal. I plan on testing again tonight.
One thing that has changed before this was my install of a subwoofer. I had been testing the remote lead out of my Key 200.4 as a signal to turn on the sub. I must have depleted the batteries charge while testing. The chimes were playing from the IPC and I noticed the radio would immediately turn off when I turned off the ignition where before the radio would stay on until I opened the door.
Currently I have my Noco charger hooked up to bring the SOC back up. Could a low battery SOC cause my truck to misbehave? There have been many other reports on this site of strangeness occurring with a low SOC.
Thanks for your input.
