Hi All,

This afternoon when pulling out of a parking space my ‘21 XLT PB felt like it was in 4WD on dry pavement while making tight turns. I quickly checked and confirmed the truck was in 2WD. His continued while maneuvering through the parking lot. I put the truck in 4WD and then back again to see if that would free things up, but it did not. After approx 1/2 mile things seemed to return to normal. I plan on testing again tonight.

One thing that has changed before this was my install of a subwoofer. I had been testing the remote lead out of my Key 200.4 as a signal to turn on the sub. I must have depleted the batteries charge while testing. The chimes were playing from the IPC and I noticed the radio would immediately turn off when I turned off the ignition where before the radio would stay on until I opened the door.

Currently I have my Noco charger hooked up to bring the SOC back up. Could a low battery SOC cause my truck to misbehave? There have been many other reports on this site of strangeness occurring with a low SOC.

Thanks for your input.

Might be locking rear. Freaked me out one time. I hit it with my knee too often and there's only a tiny little icon on the screen that tells you it's on.

Darrell78, you sir are a steely-eyed missile man. We were at Costco and my wife and mother-in-law went out to the truck to wait for me to check out. She took the keys and has a habit of pushing buttons without looking or knowing what they do. She told me she started the truck to roll down the windows and then tried to shut the truck off but the button did not work. I’m sure she pushed the e-lock button.

Perfect. Good to hear it's nothing major. Easy mistake to happen.
