That's the first I think I have ever heard of that symptom as described.

So it starts normal?
Runs a few seconds and dies.
Does it start normal again immediately?

Glad to hear the worst of it has been unplanned landscaping.

Here's to utilities being reestablished quickly and continued good health. Keeping y'all in our prayers.

I expect that is more ERCOT and heat related more so than Beryl...
Ercot. Aka. Power nazis
We are fortunate that our ppwer is a coop
And not under ercots heavy hand
There is nat gas powered power generating station in Henderson that our coop buys power from
Even during snowmeggadon we had power while rest of texas froze
Ercot had power generation capacity to use, but refused to ignore the federal government telling them they coukd not go above 90% capacity
Real manure show

*update*

ended up disconnecting the battery overnight and has acted fine since then. even took the battery to an o’reilly for a check and it came back optimal. can’t believe a damn electrical gremlin actually f*cking let me down in one of the worse possible scenarios ??

Got set up for the rain from Beryl here in Canada, best we had available. Currently on and off heavy rain, expected for today and possibly some tomorrow.. PB has the Keurig running in the trailer and the portable freezer in the truck.

Still waiting to even get to my property to clean up the mess.

Wholly floodgates
That's much worse than I had gathered
This is just the road leading out to your place...not your place under water
Right?

Don't let the tax man see that lake front property!

Glad to hear you've made it through with nothing more than some additional truck and chainsaw hours!

That's basically Chocolate Bayou out of its banks because Chocolate Bay, at the Gulf, isn't a low tide enough to take the water. (The street you are looking down dead-ends at the Bayou. So right now the Bayou is about 1/4 mile wide)
Once you get on the property, the natural grade rises significantly as you get farther from the road front. The first house and barn are about 650' off the road and about 4' higher than the street. So everything of value is high and dry.

But you ain't getting TO it. ??
