I am trying to have my 2022 PB "tricked" into thinking there is a trailer/bike rake attached. I am going to try a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter for use with a set of bike rake LED lights. I would like to use these as additional break lights for visibility from the rear but also to try to get "turn signal display" on the main screen. The regular 4 pin adapter does not play nice with LED's.

I have the trailer profile set to 5.5 feet wide and 3 feet long.

Is there any downside to this as far as truck performance? Could the MPG take a hit as some software item will tell the truck it has a trailer and run differently as some feature.

I do not know if I will keep this if it even works, since with the mirror and BLIS without a trailer it really is not a problem, but I did want to try it as long as it does not cost me MPG or performance.
