22 PB owner here. I have towed several U-Haul trailers, and recently purchased a small utility trailer. All have had LED trailer lights. I've noticed that when the truck is shut off and locked, the trailer lights will very dimly flicker on and off the entire time it's connected to the truck. Doesn't bother me, but I'm concerned for battery drain if its parked for extended periods of time with the trailer connected. Any thoughts? Side note, I found out the hard way that the trucks alarm will activate if you pull the trailer wiring connector when the truck is locked, the alarm will sound! Not awesome at 2am but good to know!

My 2021 does the same thing with LED trailer lights. I'm guessing it has to do with the security feature that you mentioned that trips the alarm if the trailer is disconnected. My RV has incandescent lights and you never see them illuminate. I've never had an issue leaving either one of them overnight, and figure the current draw is very, very low and intermittent.

How about "IT manager"
I noticed recently my 23 Lariat does this. I've left the trailer connected for several days without moving and it started right up (recently from this past Sunday evening, until just this afternoon).
I've seen others mention this is a security thing, but I was curious (I'm and IT guy, just something we do :D ) and pulled the power connector to see what would happen.

Nothing happened.

Truck was locked, but I did have my key with me, so the lights came on when I got close. Maybe that disables the alarm, I'm not sure. I have not tired doing it without my key on me (yet)

I guess I would be a little startled if fob proximity didn't disable the security...

Ya, I too figure this out the hard way at 12:00AM, when my neighbors were all asleep. I notice this very slight blinking of my trailer's LED lights (see video) and I was worried that it would drain my 2025 PowerBoost. So I unplugged the seven-pin and "all hell broke loose." At least I know my alarm system works .

I recently ran some battery tests and found that the power draw required for the Trailer Theft Alert system is not registering on the shunt I was using (too small of a draw). So take that for what it is worth.
