2023 PB 501a 4x4 short bed 7.2KW. PL=1658lbs.
More snow this winter than last, so I've had the chance to get to know the truck's capabilities without having to put it in the mud, or push it too hard in the rain.

Factory Wrangler ATs. No weight in the rear, more than the stuff I always carry. Something around a hundred lbs. spread between under the rear seat and the front of the bed. Tool box, chain, shovel, jack, 4 way, odds n ends, tonneau, bed liner.

The snow in early Jan. was 5" of powder, on top of 2" of Ice / sleet / snow mix. Used Slippery with 4A and was pleased with the result but as I have grey whiskers enough to know not to play with ice, that was pretty much the extent of the experimentation.

This one was 5" of a medium dry snow. The noisy, squeaky kind but it does pack. Normally, I'd plow that but wanted to see how the truck and the Wife's new Bronco Sport handled it. Besides, 60F is just days away.

Slippery with 4A, again proved satisfactory but wanted to see how it would be in normal 2W. In undisturbed snow, it did fine. About as you'd expect and as you'd expect, in packed snow, less so but the odd thing, is I backed up in N 2W, on the same snow pack that foiled it in forward. About a 6% grade and it was as sure footed as if in 4W. In my experience, that is very not normal, for 2W, in an unloaded truck. This is my first crew cab though so, maybe it is normal?
