Just an update, finally got around to installing these on my snow tire setup. Did not need the acivation tool. They automatically config and showed up!

Install them and drive the truck. Nothing is needed to be done.

I'm not sure your post is correct regarding 315Mhz for 23 and prior model years, on checking the Ford service manual and Ford parts for 21MY thru 24MY clearly call out the same part number. At 433Mhz
In 2021 Ford changed to 433Mhz sensors on the F150. The system now learns the sensors and positions of the wheels automatically. There is no learning process, and if you swap wheels to other wheels with these sensors if will automatically recognize those sensors as well.

2021 - 2024 part
Ford part number ML3Z-1A189-D
Motorcraft number TPMS101

2020 and prior part number
F2GZ-1A189-G

Follow the link below and scroll down to see the fitment guide. These sensors fit 21 thru 24 at 433Mhz

My 2021 tpms do not work with my 2024. Tire shop confirmed they are dual frequency 315/415 not 433.
In Canada they could only get 433 from Ford @125 each. F that.
