I was having the tire tech set the tire pressure to towing pressure after a tire rotation and I noticed on my trucks dashboard that the tire pressure was changing on different wheels (front and rear were reversed) than where the tech was filling the tire. Is this a setting that needs to be changed, or will the truck update itself?

The truck will re-learn the new positions of the tires after a short trip, 1 or 2 miles maybe. Don't ask me how it does it, But it does.:)

I thought that might be the case. Thanks!
Interesting that they didn't cross the left and right tires during the rotation.

They really should crossed the rears during the rotation. according to the owner's manual. but for whatever reason some shops don't like doing that.

Been wondering about this one myself.

OBD2 shows left and right rear opposite of where they show on my dash. ?

I always swap the fronts and rears when I rotate, guess I’ve been doing it wrong lol

Front to back for directional tires, but otherwise if tires are non-directional crossing is fine
