What is everyone running with their bigger tires ?
This site says my tires (Toyo Proxes STIII 305/45r22 should be running at 31 psi.
Does this sound right?

31 is way too low. I have the same size but a Michelin defender and I have 42 in the front 40 in the rear. I tried with 38/37 and my gas mileage went down.

I would start with the factory recommended tire pressures and then check the wear pattern after 1000 miles and make adjustments. I would never go by the tire manufacturer's website information as it is tire specific and not vehicle specific. The "chalk" test is also worthless and only a visual inspection of the wear pattern if fool proof.

That's pretty much my opinion until I saw that website. But I'll continue to keep them around 35 psi.

Feel free to run lower than the manufacturer recommends as long as you are not running 90mph down the highway and building up heat. You will get a smoother ride and better performance. I ran 42"X17" Maxis Trepador Stickies on my Jeep. Manufacturer listed them at 35PSI. I ran them at 15 PSI on the street and 3-4 PSI on the trails. The physics behind the larger contact area and distribution of weight dictate you can run lower pressure.

I am running 295/60 R20's, they have been @ 40 PSI from the day I picked it up from dealer.

I just been monitoring the tread wear, seems good so far.

As others have suggested, monitor tread wear and adjust pressures as needed for loads and towing activity.

I have 22in rims on 35in Toyo All Terrain. Every 5K miles I take it in to get a full synthetic oil change, tire balance, tire rotation, top off fluids and put all my tires at 40 psi.

Nitto says the 275/60R20 Nomads should be at 40-50psi. Thus, I've (currently) got them at 42psi.
