Tint help/info wanted.

Just got Xpel Prime XR Plus Nano-Ceramic tint installed 30 all around, including the moonroof. Literally picked it up 10 minutes ago. I will report my thoughts as I get them, but it is going to take a week or so to fully cure.

I'm in the process of ordering a 2025 KR - and researching tint. Xpel Prime XR Plus Nano-Ceramic is on my list - curious what your long term experience is with it?

I have Xpel XR Black on my truck. I wanted the "Black" line for the more charcoal/matte finish. I did 15 on the side windows, 45 on the rear window, and 70 on the windshield. I have had this tint for about 1.5 years now with no issues. I recently installed vent visors and thought that maybe the window going up and down in a now narrower channel would aggravate the tint. Gladly to say that has not been the case. Tint is holding up well.

I will say my installer recommended to go with 15 on the sides as that seems to be the sweet spot between tint and visibility. However we did much darker 45 on the rear window because according to the installer (and I can now agree having lived with it) the rear window is the place to go dark at.
