For the last year I've been wanting to put a cat back exhaust system on my truck to really let loose the 5.0 sound, but I leave fairly early for work and dont want to make my neighbors hate me lol. What is everyone's thoughts on it as far as being too loud at start up?

I've had the dual out the back Borla S on my 24 RCSB since last summer. On cold start-up, it is a little loud, but not obnoxious at all, more like a dull rumble. Once it idles down, it's pretty quiet. No issues with drone on mine, and at highway speeds, you know it's there, but it's nothing bad or annoying, for me at least....I love the V-8 rumble.

The S-type cold start is very noticeable, your neighbors won't be pleased. Go with the Touring, you won't be disappointed. Mellower but still sounds very good

S type is too loud for my liking. Not obnoxious but too much cab noise for me. I went with the Touring dual side exit on mine. Sounds great when you want to hear it but pretty close to stock when just cruising. Its not a hey look at me type of setup but it reminds you that youre in an 8 cylinder truck. Exhausts are a tricky thing to discuss though. Loud to me may be quiet to someone else. I've had many exhaust setups. This one is easily my personal favorite.

I wouldn't use the S type on my daily driver.
