I watched the full video.
Pretty interesting.
I still think there's some massive gambling going on, and not just by Ford, but I'm still not ready to be as pessimistic as I think many are.

I really don't think they have a choice. Tesla is growing just as fast as they can, making huge deals with the #1 batt producer, sourcing the hard to get minerals, etc... These are the types of moves they must do, and it's not coincidence they're building in TN. There's a good reason most of the foreigns build plants in the south / SE.

Personally I think they would have been wise to build a little further south and east to get close to the ports.

Great video. Thanks for sharing. A lot of cool info. He seems like he understands his arena and how they need to grow and evolve, yet stay planted in history/tradition too. He also comes off well in videos. And yet, every time I see him, I think of Chris. They look so similar since they are cousins.

A lot of auto manufacturing happens in South Carolina due to coastal access and low operating costs.
