Sync4 update returns Weather feature

Ford has done an OTA update the now restores the 'Weather" feature. It utilizes AccuWeather. Seems to be a good update.

I knew I somehow was able to get the weather forecast initially when I got my truck but has been MIA after a few handful of OTA updates.

My nav screen
Drop downs bring up a weather icon
Is this what was missing?
Mine has never left

Or a separate weather bug app in the mobile apps screen

The SYNC4 AccuWeather works irregularly. Works fine under normal weather conditions, but when severe weather is impacting the region, it does not function.

mine will alert of bad or severe weather IF its along your planned route...that nav is guiding you through, (connected nav, not car play)

other wise the phone alerts to say HEY dummy a bad thing is near
