SYNC 4 update - F-150

Hey everyone. Is "23291_PRODUCT" the latest version for SYNC 4 for your truck? According to Ford this update is from September. I have checked the Ford APP and there is no update listed. I feel like the old version of the App used to show a list of updates? WHY can't Ford make regular updates? You can't tell me they aren't constantly finding bugs. Another question. Is the screen behind the steering wheel part of the SYNC system? The Menu screen seems to show up a lot without me selecting it. Was hoping this would be fixed with an update.

So you are saying I have not gotten an update since 2023? I called a dealership in my area and they said that was the latest update that I was able to receive. I just called a dealership and they said Ford is releasing an update in Jan. Fingers crossed because it was supposed to be this month.

The screen behind the steering what has it's own module and is not directly part of the APIM that controls your touchscreen. The issue where the IPC defaults to the menu is a known issue and it is not fixed by the latest Sync update. I have 24127 and it still does it.

Not every update will give you an higher Sync version, so that does not mean you have not gotten and update since 2023.
