Successful 22B08 Update In Central Fl

Just to be helpful, this is only of interest to readers in Central Fl wondering where to take their truck for the 22B08 update and Blue Cruise software installation. I was very frustrated when I took my truck to a dealer who kept it for more than a week and then told me he couldn't do it.

Village Ford, near Ocala and The Villages got it done perfectly and they have all the equipment needed for the job, which takes 13 hours. It took me two months to get an appointment and that was a long wait but they did an excellent job and my truck is completely up to date, Blue Cruise and all. I recommend them and if you're anywhere near them you can take your truck there and get it done right. Cheers

They claim they did 22B08 for me at my dealer, but absolutely nothing changed with my truck after they had it and I still can’t get an OTA (Or even see which version I’m currently on).

That sounds like my experience too. The first dealer wasted my time, I was taking a big road trip the following week. He also told me that while he had my truck he upgraded the trailer brake system, but the Village Ford dealer told me it wasn't done and he did it. It showed upon my display as accomplished the next time I drove the truck so I know he actually did it.

I'm so pleased with my truck now, it's finally the truck I paid for over a year ago.
