How did you get the rubber mat and from where? Also I see you have a cover. Can I live without a cover for some time? I just purchased a ratcheting bar and two ratchet straps and two cam straps from Harbor freight. I also have a spray in bed liner. Did you find this useful?

I purchased the ford bed mat from the dealer I ordered from. The spray in liner was done around 6 weeks after purchase of the truck.

When I ordered my truck in 2022, bed liners were delaying orders by a substantial amount. When it finally arrived, the dealers preferred vendor also had a backlog, so I picked up the rubber bed mat from their parts department on the day of delivery.

The tonneau cover is the bak x4s from @Realtruck. I ordered it through the forum for significant savings around Black Friday 2022. Do you need one? That depends on your use case, for me it has proved invaluable.

No. I haven't used the bar yet, but it does look useful.
In my other truck I ran a plastic coated cable from the front cargo point back to the rear, across the rear, and back to the front. This allows me to put the straps and bungee in any configuration. I have another cable with loops to feed through the kayaks and add combination lock for overnight at hotel stops. Cable is very hard to cut and most people don't have those tools on hand. Also good through the luggage handles if you stop to eat during airport runs.

I still have harbor freight straps that work perfectly and are 20+ years old. Save your money they are all the same. I’d recommend having some with 90degree hooks and some with 45. Sometimes the 90degree hooks are a bitch to work with in a fully loaded bed.

I hauled some 12' 2x12s on Saturday with the tailgate down and they were barely hanging in there. Could see this being useful for kayaks as well if you're staying local.
