Steering wheel re-finishing Leather

2021 F150 Platinum

Has anyone re-dyed their steering wheel to get rid of lightly worn areas? My new/used Platinum has a previous owner used worn area and I am looking to re-dye (if really leather) the steering wheel.

Need to also figure a good color and or match?

Tough to get an exact color match or the surface finish. You might be better off looking for a new cover. Redline Goods might be a place to start.
