Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 2023 F150 earlier this year and I threw a level and 35’s on it. Like I’ve done on my past 3 f150’s. However this is the first truck that I’ve had popping and clicking noises on the front end of the truck and I cannot figure it out. I’ve taken it to 3 well known shops in my area and two Ford dealerships, no one can diagnose it or even help. The issue usually is worst when the truck sits over night and I first turn the wheel in the morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Truck is 2wd by the way.

Does your truck have electric power steering? I have a 21 PB and I have noted that when stopped or very slow and I go to move the steering to quickly it seems to stall and move in steps. Could what you're seeing be similar? My dealer has observed it and does not have a reason nor do they feel it needs replacement.

Have you went back and retorqued all suspension components? Most recommend retightening after 500 miles

Hey, Dalton. Can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you have been working with? I would like to take a closer look at your steering concerns.

Hello Ford, thank you for the reply. The vin is 1FTEW1CP5PKF98507 and the dealership is Sawgrass ford in Sunrise, Florida. I’ve had the hardest time diagnosing my issue and would love to resolve it. I really enjoy the truck overall I just don’t get why this is happening

Yes they did end up retorquing everything

yes mine was doing something pretty similar to that. Maybe it could be some type of recall

I've never had a "failure" of the steering. It only occurs at very slow speed or when stopped. I've learned to move the steering slowly in that scenario.

Even when I turn mine slow it always makes that initial pop. Primarily when I first start my truck up in the morning and turn the wheel
