Is it effective without having to resort to very dark windows? I prefer being able to see at night.
I ceramic coated my side windows and sunroof with a heat reflecting almost clear film. I was shocked at how good it worked and will not have another truck, that sits in the sun all day, without doing this to it. Some of the best money I ever spent.

Zero interference with night vision, and this is critical for these old eyes.

As Kodiak said, you can go as light as you want. It's the material that's reflective (like quality home windows with no "tint"). Just make sure it's the good stuff and not a cheap knock off.

What's "the good stuff"?

XPel and Llumar are very good brands for ceramic tint, 3M is pretty good, too

My preference is 70% on the front windshield, 45-55% on the front driver and passenger window (which are not tinted from the factory), and 70% over other factory tinted windows. Those tint levels should not impact your vision at night.

I have 35% ceramic on my 2 front windows and factory tint on the rear, nothing on windshield. No issues seeing out at night. These windows are so big that 35% doesn't seem that dark at all.

This is my first truck with leather seats. It was great over winter but as it's getting hot in the south my legs are sticking to my seats. It's driving me crazy haha.

Would ventilated seats fix this?
Longer shorts? ?
I have 15% tint on the front windows and deploy my Ford F-150 sunscreen every time I park now through October. If it’s safe enough, and the stop is short enough, I activate generator mode. It costs pennies and my daily quality of life improves dramatically.
?
Ps. Drop the keys behind you then get out and close your door. Open the passenger door and retrieve your keys and lock up normally. Defeats the double horn blast!

I'm in Texas and it's a must if you have leather. Much more comfortable than solid leather

I have them in mine… I had no idea they sucked air? That explains why they don’t cool the leather down as much as expected. However, living in Georgia, I get my use out of them. Lot of hot summer days where the seats are 130 degrees, remote start is nice on those occasions. I have 5% tint on all my side windows, which also helps a lot. But it does make seeing at night a little more challenging. I didn’t get ceramic tint, I’ve heard it’s better at rejecting heat.

Yes. The whole point of nanoceramic is IR and UV opacity with little effect on visible light. My windows don't look like they're tinted.

They do work better than not having them. However I wish they would blow air instead of sucking air as I thought the seats that blew air through them, worked better at cooling.
My seats do blow air either cool or hot depending on the system setting.

Well now curiosity killed the cat. I’ll have to turn on the cooled seats tomorrow and see if they suck or blow. lol
