Shock recommendations

I just installed Bilstein 5100 front and back on my 2023 F150 Tremor, and I tow a 7000lb travel trailer, the ride is fantastic and helped out with eliminating some porpoising that I had with the stock shocks, I can confirm that if you set the fronts to achieve stock ride height that is exactly what you will get! I set my fronts to give me just an inch of front lift because the tremor has a bit more rake than of Ford F-150 models, overall I’m very happy with the upgrade!

I did the 5160 in the rear no height change. On the front I did the 6112 no change for height. Truck tows way better now. I also added a Hellwig rear sway bar.

The bilstien options would be a good fit. But if you are only after on road ride quality I’d recommend the fox 2.0 kit. You can adjust it down with a spanner wrench while installed on the truck! The big difference is the valving digressive compared to progressive! If you want a good deal on a kit shoot me a pm!

You never specified what issues you have with the OEM shocks on your truck. The 4WD package already provides upgraded shocks on the truck.

With the trailer in tow are you experiencing porposing with your truck? That is the only situation I can think of where new shocks might help. In that situation I would want adjustable shocks like the Rancho ones so I could tune the amount of dampening at the front wheels.

I have the FX4 shocks are crap when towing. The change to Bilstein kept the truck planted.
