I know I'm reviving an old thread, but is this still something you do regularly? Only curious if it causes the adaptive learning to get even more confused or not haha
No worries on the revive. :)

During the Adaptive process, I use Sport Mode intentionally, and so it's not necessary for me to avoid lugging or gear skipping.

If Sport Mode supported EV cruising on the Powerboost, Sport would be my Normal. ?

Occupation
retired!
Every once in a while I put the truck in M-mode and use the +- to drive it like my Miata.
No need for that.

Just toss the Miata in the bed, and rather than "like', you could drive your F-150 with your Miata!

[when I was toying with the idea of dropping a 300hp Northstar v8 [1] into my Miata with the blown engine, I quipped that I could tow my '72 Eldorado with it that way. On one my then law partners replied that people would just think that the Eldo was pushing the Miata!]

[1] after much reflection, I realized that the sane approach for someone who really wanted this would be to find a Cadillac STS with a manual, chop the chassis, and drop the Miata body on top--and that this would cost less than what you'd have to do to make it drivable with just the engine, and using custom mounts rather than the off the shelf v8 conversions, and . . .
