Picked up my new Lariat yesterday. Traded in a 2020 Raptor and got a decent price on the trade. Needed the trailering capability.
Already put my tool box/rod rack, wheel well liners, black lug nuts. Tried to put in bed divider, but the holes weren't threaded. Have to pick up some nuts and washers.
Next.....these $hitty tires have to go.

What tires? I hate the Hankooks that came on my 2023, only thing I’ve disliked about the truck so far the first 3,000 miles. Absolutely love the rest of the truck. Wish they’d put Michelin on from the factory like the super duties

i picked up the truck with my winters on , just switched to the hankooks ...they dont seem that bad... not my favourite Michelins but they should work, i am going to hook up the trailer this weekend and go for a test tow... and might have a different opinion.

Just curious... What's so bad about the Hankooks? I've got about 13k miles on mine and haven't noticed any issues, though my truck hasn't really seen any snow since new, and I don't go off road.

Agreed. I have no issues with the Hankooks. They are a highly rated tire.

Never liked the 20in sport rims, but the tires are actually something everyone typically talks good about.

Did you straight trade for the raptor? Just curious. Idk what the raptors towing is off the top of my head, but man idk how I'd feel about trading a 2020 raptor for one of these. You probably could have towed just fine with some airbags or something to compensate for the raptors suspension squat.

Yes Avalanche.

Need a little more aggressive tire for boat ramp and occasional light off-road. The Hankooks look like a passenger car tire.

Raptor was a great truck, but didn't need its capabilities anymore since I picked up a 2dr Bronco Badlands.
As far as towing goes, yeah I could've added a bunch of stuff to the suspension, but then it wouldn't be the same. Also, I couldn't wait to get rid of that pano roof.
The sticker on this truck was actually 1K more than my Raptor was.

Those are not supposed to be tapped. When you buy the plates they come with self tapping screws

Wrong! I've owned a fair share of these trucks and all my previous ones were tapped for the bed extender. I just bought some nylok nuts and washers. Problem solved.

Never had an issue in the rain. Snow tires are for snow. :/
