Send help! Error: Charge Only USB Device

I'm getting this error popping up in my dash touch screen.

I have absolutely zero devices connected. Nothing is in any of the USB ports and no Bluetooth or car play either.

This message comes up every 10 seconds - super annoying as it disconnects my phone charger every 10 seconds (when I go have my phone plugged in).

But, like I said even without anything connected wired or wireless, it still gives me that message.

Tried rebooting, resetting, factory resetting all that stuff.

Could have a faulty USB port assembly. Not too expensive or hard to replace.

This should do the trick. Try popping it out and unplugging it to see if the alert stops. If it does then order a new one.

ML3Z-19A387-D Might be a different part number for yours but this should point you in the right direction to find the one for your year model/trim.
