That will be interesting. The seat side pinches onto the flat plastic part. That is why we are trying to bolster the seat up where it touches. Let us know if that works! It looks nearly factory!Yet another problem I have only because the forum told me..
I had some stuff laying around, we'll see if it "works".

It's really an attempt to soften the sharp edge on the plastic. Whether putting the extra bulk in as a trade-off is an improvement will be hard to judge since the passenger seat (left alone) only gets used 2% of the time for me.That will be interesting. You will know within 10K miles if a line is forming on your seat. It's really an attempt to soften the sharp edge on the plastic. Whether putting the extra bulk in as a trade-off is an improvement will be hard to judge since the passenger seat (left alone) only gets used 2% of the time for me.
Very clean mod. Did you adhere it with adhesive?Yet another problem I have only because the forum told me..

No, it has "teeth" and barely fits on the plastic. The stuff I used, shown earier, isn't as glossy as the stock photo shown here.Very clean mod. Did you adhere it with adhesive?
