Scanning Sirrius XM channels

My apologies for being a newbie and not knowing but is there any way to scan the channels on my sirrius radio from the steering wheel controls? As it stands it will only go to the next pre-set channel and to scan I need to either use the knob or the double arrow on the dash.

Any ideas or am I just missing something?

On my older 2010 Lariat Sony radio, if I held the steering wheel channel button down for a few seconds rather than a press and release, it would scan and not just go to the next preset. Don't know if the new radios are the same or not.

Thanks, That works on AM FM but must not be able to determine the channels on satellite radio.

Not a direct answer but all Dodge pickups have SiriusXM channels preprogrammed to "Culture Club", "Spandau Ballet" and "Adam Lambert" and the only dedicated commercial is Bud Light....

Well mine is pre programmed to Willies roadhouse and classic rock. Yea I know different ends of the spectrum. Depends if I am on Gravel or blacktop.

I have found no way to scan individual channels from the steering wheel. Only the presets as you mentioned.

I've never thought to try and scan like that. Interesting. I find it much more annoying that you can't change media inputs in the steering wheel without going thru that supply menu. Crazy to me
