Scam Website Alert

I wanted to share this so it will hopefully not happen to others in our community. I recently ordered a set of wheels from MBGram / MBenzGram.com for my 2023 F150. While not familiar with the company, they were prominently advertised on Google and their prices were slightly lower than competing vendors. Though I promptly received an order confirmation from them, something about it just didn't feel right. I then tried to contact them both via phone and email, but I was unable to speak with anyone. At this point, I opted to do some additional research on the company and my findings, unfortunately, confirmed my suspicions. Their scam informs customers that their items will either be shipping soon or that they are currently on backorder and will ship once they are available. They then continue to string people along until it is beyond the date that they can dispute the charge with their credit card company. Those who request a refund are given a laundry list of excuses and ultimately, never receive the refund they requested. Fortunately, I became suspicious early on and I am hoping the $1650 dispute with my credit card company results in my favor. However, long story short, always purchase items from a vendor that either supports our community or that you know is legitimate. Unfortunately, this scam is now common and the offending websites continue to appear more legitimate. Below are two links that I wish I had read prior to ordering from this company and I hope this information helps others going forward. For me however, lesson learned.
