Request VIN Lookup Thread

Evening all,

was hoping someone here with FDRS could possibly run my VIN for updates? Found some talk in another thread that mentioned one of the things I’ve been facing since I believe I received an OTA last Sept to fix the speaker popping (which I believe led to misdirected chimes at times).
Curious to see what might be out there and if I should take the FDRS plunge myself.

Really appreciate you checking this...is it often that FDRS reflects differently than what PTS shows?

Just bought a used 2021 PowerBoost and took it to the dealer for features turned off due to battery problems & 4 recall fixes. Glad they replaced the battery but they are stuck with updates & problems. Could you please tell me what FDRS says is pending for 1FTFW1ED4MFB62923?

Just bought a used 2021 PowerBoost and took it to the dealer for features turned off due to battery problems & 4 recall fixes. Glad they replaced the battery but they are stuck with updates & problems. Could you please tell me what FDRS says is pending for 1FTFW1ED4MFB62923?

I just started getting the audio pop on startup and now i am having dead battery problems. I only have 200 miles to go before warranty expires so want to figure out what wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dealers will not do module updates unless there is a recall or TSB they can bill Ford for. The audio popping noise does have a TSB, so that one they will do. I believe that is the DSP update, but it could be the ACM. I don't recall.

It happens enough for me to provide a disclosure that it may not be fully accurate.

Joe and Javier, following up on Mike's question with a newbie question. Since the dealer will not do module updates unless a recall, how do the modules get updated, OTA? How can I find out what the dealer has installed in the last week it has kept my truck? Tx
