You are fully updated through 4.2.4 and not a single one of the 8 OTA's you have gotten since January have failed. You are up to date and good to go.

The last OTA you got was 4.2.1, and 4.2.2 has been sent to you three times and failed all three. I have noticed that particular update can be a PITA to go through sometimes. I wouldn't stress it. I am sure you'll get it sooner than later. These 4.x.x updates don't give you anything new that you're missing out on.

With PTS which is Ford's "Professional Technician System" website. Must be a Ford dealer or Ford employee, or pay them monthly for access.

If you are using anything other than a Mongoose and an FDRS license, there is nothing you can do to get your truck to update.

Hello out there! Would love if someone could check my VIN to determine what software version I'm currently on and whether or not there are any updates I need. Bought a used 21 PB in Jan and when I go to the update screen, the last thing it shows is a message about Recall 22S17; Trailer Not Recognized. Unless there's somewhere else I'm not looking, I can't see any actual software version listed and have received nothing OTA thus far.

You truck is on Sync 22177, so you are fairly behind on updates. That update address a recall for the trailer module. It does not seem like you have gotten an OTA that upgrades the software in a long time.

None of those tricks work. Don't bother with them.

Can someone check my VIN. i was told on another forum that dealers can update all modules to get the sticker option to work on the build1 2021 F150's for the pro backup trailer assist.

Ford was to release an OTA in Q4 of 2021 that would allow stickers to be used insted of the expensive Yaw Sensor. I am hoping the dealer can resolve this, but if no updates are found in FDRS I am waisting my time 3 hour drive and leaving it to them for 2 weeks.


Update: My local ford dealer was able to get my truck updated and I now have the option to use the stickers.

They performed TSB 22-2121 Reprogrammed the IPMA, PSCM, CCM module and IPMA Alignment.

All good now.
