Thank youNo OTA's in the queue for either of you at this time. If what you wanted is check for modules pending updates in FDRS, I can do that much later when I get home to my laptop.

Well, you did the right things to get the OTA to go through. Not all OTA's are like that one, but the ones that require the vehicle to be inhibited can be a PITA.Thanks in advance for the service the members of this forum provides. I've been lurking here for a while reading posts but finally decided to subscribe. Since this past summer, my truck has been going into power saver mode and I noticed that I had 2.7.4 OTA which kept failing. I also found that Allow Automatic Updates was turned off for some reason, so I re-enabled it. I just had the battery replaced under warranty but the OTA failed yet again. I performed a BMS reset and, that evening, 2.7.4 installed successfully. I'd appreciate if someone could look my VIN and let me know what OTA's I'm missing.

Will the missing updates get automatically installed or are there some that I would have to bring the truck to the dealer to install?
Thanks for your help. I found it odd that I had 4.2.4 installed yet 2.7.4 wasn't installed. i guess they don't necessarily install in order?Well, you did the right things to get the OTA to go through. Your OTA history is pretty extensive. You have not gotten the 6.x.x updates that were recently released yet, but you'll get them sooner or later. There is no way to predict when that will happen and there is no way to force an OTA to be sent to your truck. Dealers do not get paid to perform module updates by Ford, so don't bother with that. The updates you are missing are not going to give you anything new (yet), so you can patiently wait out the process, IMO.
Usually, they do. Idk what Ford was thinking releasing this new BCM update with a 2.7.4 revision number. 2.7.4 was originally an IPC update for job 1 2021 trucks that was part of the updates needed to activate bluecruise on trucks that were shipped to dealers before the software was ready. When I saw 2.7.4 popping up for people again I was very confused. Thanks for your help. Yeah, the deeper that I dive into this, the less sense it makes. Fords OTA process seems to be a total mess.Usually, they do. You have no idea. Be happy that your 2021 is getting updates at all.Yeah, the deeper that I dive into this, the less sense it makes. Fords OTA process seems to be a total mess.
Yes, one of the 4.x.x updates messed that up for a lot of people. If I remember correctly, 4.3.6 is the one that brings it back. Not sure if turning it back on with FORScan will bring it back for you or if the update is 100% necessary to get it back.Hi, would you mind please looking up my VIN again? 1FTFW1E53MKE02298
You had checked for me back in late September and told me that my dealer didn't update my DSP module as they had said. Since then, I brought the truck back in, and I'm waiting for a new DSP module now. After they had it, I got a few updates up to Oct. 5th, one of which killed my backup camera button. Last update was 4.2.4 for me.
Supposedly there should be an OTA APIM update that turns the camera back on this month, or it needs to go back to the shop, and I'm out of bumper to bumper coverage now.
Thanks for your help yet again!
You truck was sent 6.2.0 on 10/25, and was sent 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE today and is sitting in the queue right now. Someone would have to start your truck at some point within the next two weeks for it to download and install. I can check FDRS for you later when I get home. I am sure you have a few, but good luck getting them to do them for you.Hi, Would you be able to check out PTS and if there are OTA or FDRS updates for my truck???
My truck has been in the shop for 62 days waiting on parts and if I need them to install any updates I am guessing I can talk them into it! LOL

Thank you for checking it out... That someone will be me! If it is outside I will get it started tonight. Edit: You can ask the dealer to update your APIM. The worst that can happen is that they say no or just don't do it.
