Anyone know what's involved in replacing the upper left and right dash panels. Does the entire dash have to be removed?

Thanks!

If you are talking about the top pads, yes everything comes off. Here's a picture of mine mostly disassembled. (The steering wheel can probably stay on but i was adding a heated wheel at the same time as the 12" cluster)

I swapped in a 12" cluster. To do that right you have to replace the two top pads on the dash and the cluster bezel. So the entire dash has to come off. I took that opportunity and did the heated wheel and rain sensor upgrade at the same time as well.

It's not really difficult just takes some time.

Note to self: if I ever need to take apart dash, just buy a new truck! Lol

Im pretty sure it requires dash removal. I had a 2020 XLT and was going to upgrade to Lariat dash ends with leather and stitching on pads. after researcing,I scrapped that project
