I think you're confusing me with the OP (spelling of color). I just jumped in to say I might be interested in the swap. I'll have to investigate the differences between the XLT and the Lariat panels to see if there are any other differences.

Thanks, the truck has fairly dark tint (previous owner installed I assume) so I don't know if it is nano-ceramic. I wonder if a tint-safe ceramic window cleaner on the inside would do the same thing?

Any ammonia free glass cleaner will be fine.

Typically one of the easiest ways to tell if you have ceramic is how hot the tops of the door panels get during the day. Even the low grade ceramic tints block most of the infrared and uv light so the interior surfaces remain relatively cool by comparison to surfaces not protected. If the sun has been shining all day and the top of the door card is just slightly warm but gets considerably hotter if the window is open for 5-10 minutes then it's a safe bet it's ceramic tint. Many cheap or low grade ceramic tint films also have a hazy appearance when the sun is shining on them. High grade nano ceramics will have little to no haze by comparison.

The rear glass is privacy glass so it is already darker from the factory. The privacy glass doesn't block UV or infrared at all so many like myself will put additional tint on to block that as well as darken it up more.
