Hi all! New here, I've enjoyed reading through the forum for the past few days.
Hopefully picking up a '22 Platinum tomorrow, and in one of the dealer's pictures to me (truck was shipped from Georgia to Alabama, haven't seen it in person yet) I noticed the driver side DRL looking dim/out (picture attached). I've heard this is a real issues on the 21-23's. What has everyone been doing when this happens?
I know I could probably find an OEM replacement on eBay, but won't that just be a bandaid? Is there a viable and reliable aftermarket OEM-style replacement? All the aftermarket ones I'm seeing have blacked out housings or sketchy reviews. I'd like to stay as close to OEM-looking as possible, but if ultimately there is nothing - I guess I'll get the dealer to replace it or snag one off eBay.
By the way, coming from a 2015 Platinum. Absolutely loved my '15. Never had any issues, just wanted a little technology upgrade.
Thanks for having me!
