Open tailgate
Remove tailgate panel
Pull out step 10"
Remove two 10MM nuts.
ID the four clips holding it on.
Using a screwdriver, push down on the tabs and remove. The trim on the top of the tailgate might have to get popped out a touch.
Push step in.
While holding bezel, close tailgate.
Put a towel between the tailgate and bezel. I taped it in place.
Remove antenna from back of bezel. T20 x2.
Remove black cup. T20 x4.
At this point, you'll see the handle is held on with two clips. Release clips with a screwdriver.
Grab a non marking tool and pry the chrome cover from the bezel. There are 5 drops of glue holding it on besides the clips.
Reassemble in reverse.
My clips broke despite the effort so I will use 3M tape to reattach it after I wrap it.
