Remote start issues after key fob battery change

Okay I’m 100% confident I know how to start my Lariat (2022) using the key fob. Been doing this for many years.
I changed the battery and I can no longer remote start with the key fob.
pressing lock and then hit the 2x twice. The horn just honks once.
What am I doing wrong here?!

anyone else experiencing this issue?

on my wifes edge i had to change battery and then place the fob in the dead battery spot in the center console and it started working again.
it would not lock or unlock.
but your able to lock and unlock? might be worth a try.. OM states changing battery does not erase information

I found the fix. Once the battery is removed there’s a procedure to pair the key fob.
enter the truck
Turn it on and immediately press the 2x button on the Fob for 10 seconds.
turn off the truck
Open the door
Bingo!

The information that is presented on this form is amazing. Would never had known about pairing the flob to the truck again. Or is it, read the dam manual....LOL

Thank you. I'd like to know where you found the answer. I have a new Powerboost and I could get it to start from the app but not from the remote. This works.
