Has anyone done a muffler delete? I was thinking of just having it cut off and leave the factory resonator.
I have. First find an exhaust shop that can do a mandrel bent 45 and then find a decent exhaust tip. I found a black one with a slant cut in it that also has a little bit of baffle on the sides to help cut extra noise. Have it turned sideways so the “top” is pointed to the rear and it will help with a flush fit. My local shop charged me $100 to remove the muffler at the mounting band and weld it all together.

Does anyone have recommendations for exhaust for a 5.0 Reg cab? I have been looking at everything from pre axle exit to after axle exit. I want something with a good tone and not a lot of drone but not too loud that I cant hold a conversation in the truck.
Borla ATAK. It's loud AF with zero drone. Easy convo in the truck; I have one. You barely hear it in the cabin until you get on it. You hear nothing when cruising as well.

Now, Cylinder Deactivation mode is a nightmare with that exhaust. I stayed in sport mode until I got tuned like a week later or so. That was god-awful.

I love my rear exit 4" mbrp but I also have slp on my foxbody sooooooo. Lol. I wanted a deep but not ridiculous sound and I am super happy with it. @2k you can definitely hear it in the cab but not to the point you cant have a conversation. I told the wife the other day that I wished it was just a tad louder and she said it sounded good just the way it was. Hahahaha.
