I have my dash cam hooked up to my rearview mirror using a dongar dongle and will be temporarily leasing a place for work in NJ, not too far from a highway exit near a higher crime area and I was wondering if there is possibly an easy way to change the power going to my rearview mirror from switched to always on.
if needed, I’ll run power directly to the fuse box, but looking for a work smarter, not harder solution first before I do that. I understand there is a risk of battery drain by doing this, but my truck doesn’t ever sit very long and I always keep a fully charged battery pack with me just in case.
