I have a 2021 F150 Lariat Powerboost 4x2 with 3.55 Electronic Locking Axle Ratio. It has 502A + the tow package.

Truck has run great in all sorts of conditions. In the last few days, whenever I make a slow sharp turn in either forward or reverse, the inside rear wheel slips.

Any ideas what might have changed or gone wrong?

Thanks very much.

It will definitely do that anytime the locker is engaged. I guess the question is, do you have it engaged or not engaged when it does that as its only meant for loose or slippery surfaces to allow for slip.

Did you accidently pull the 4wheel drive knob out, therefore engaging the locker?

Like others said, I bet you accidentally engaged the locking rear axle. This happened to someone else recently and they hadn’t even realize they engaged it inadvertently.

It is a 2WD, but it does have the electronic rear locking differential. I have tried switching the drive modes around, cycling back to normal.

Thanks.

Thanks very much for all of the help. You all were correct. The electronic differential was locked out.

I looked carefully at the dashboard and noticed this small indicator at the lower left. Also figured out that pushing the drive mode button engages and disengages the ELD. My last truck was a Toyota and the lock out was much different.

Just a thank you for this post thread. I had the same "issue" with my 2023 F150. Was glad it was user error and not mechanical.
